Terms and Conditions for “The Window Guys” Window Cleaning Services

 

1. Scope of Services

1.1 “The Window Guys” provide professional window cleaning services in Dubai. Our services encompass both residential and commercial properties.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1. To book our services, clients must provide accurate information about their property, including the number of bedrooms, location, community and any special requirements or modifications to a standard property in the same location, such as extensions.

2.3. They must also provide Full Name, Email Address and contact number

2.4. Payment is due before or on completion of the cleaning.

2.5. We accept cash ONLY.

3. Service Execution

3.1. “The Window Guys” will strive to perform services on the agreed-upon date and time without fail. However, last minute cancellation may occur due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances.

3.2. In the event of a cancellation by “The Window Guys”, we will endeavour to rebook the service at the earliest possible time.

3.3. We will endeavour to clean all windows, but if we deem any windows to be inaccessible or unsafe to clean, we will not clean them.

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1. Clients must ensure windows are accessible and safe for our team.

4.2. Removing obstacles and providing access is essential.

4.2. Access to the property is the client’s responsibility including community/security access passes.

4.3. Failure to provide adequate access to the property via inaccessibility or failure to apply/receive security passes resulting in refused access to the community will result in full payment being required.

5. Right To Refuse Work

5.1. We reserve the right to refuse work, and advance payment doesn’t imply a contract. Refusal on-site for any reason other than client fault will lead to a full refund.

5.2. Please do not ask our employees to carry out unsafe working practises. If at any point our employees feel in danger, unsafe or mistreated, we reserve the right to terminate any service immediately and leave. If payment has been made in advance this may be refunded to you unless the client is found to be at fault.

6. Liability

6.1. We diligently perform our services, but we are not liable for pre-existing window or property issues or damage.

6.2. Clients must notify us of fragile items near windows or pre-existing damage on or around any windows.

6.3. We are not responsible for damage to improperly installed windows and cannot be held liable for damages obtained during cleaning of loose or unsecured windows or glass. We reserve the right to refuse to clean if we consider the work a risk to the health and safety of our employees or our clients.

6.4. Our equipment is specifically designed for window cleaning and made primarily of soft plastic and rubber. There is nothing on our equipment that can cause scratches to glass. In some very rare instances, window installation faults mean that any window tint has been incorrectly installed on the outside of the property and this may result in scratches, “The Window Guys” does not take responsibility for damage in these instances.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

7.1. We aim for client satisfaction. Notify us within a 24 hours time if unsatisfied and we will address it as soon as we are possibly able to, free of charge.

7.2. We address concerns promptly and may offer a re-cleaning or additional cleaning for free if the issue is found to be our fault.

7.3. A call out charge may be applied if we return to clean and we find it’s the inside of the windows that are dirty (provided we had not been booked to clean inside) or the double-glazed unit has failed and the dirt is on the inside of the unit.

7.4. Unless specifically requested and confirmed, “The Window Guys” will not clean metal railings covering windows, balcony floors, doors tracks, window tracks or fly screens. These are all additional costs above a standard window cleaning service (window frames ARE included in normal service).

7.5. Achieving optimum cleaning results may require more than one clean. For example, construction debris, dust or paint may cause imperfections in cleaning results.

8. Privacy

8.1. Client information is handled according to The UAE data Privacy Policy. We do not share client information with any other service providers unless permission is strictly provided by the client.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. Content on our website, social media and physical materials are our intellectual property.

10. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

10.1. We may modify these terms without notice.

11. Governing Law

11.1. These terms are governed by Dubai’s laws.

12. Annual Price Increase

12.1. Prices are not guaranteed to remain the same and may be subject to increase from time to time dependent but not limited to inflation, cost of fuel or cost of equipment.

13. Weather

13.1. We work in various weather conditions, except high winds, rain or extreme sand storms.

14. Cancellation and Modifications of Bookings

14.1. Cancellation or modification of a booking requires 24 hours notice. Failure to inform us a minimum of 24 hours in advance will result in full payment being due. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will also result in full payment being due.

15. Discounts

15.1. Our discounts apply ONLY in accordance with the terms and conditions of that discount.

15.2. Current Discount/s – 50% of internal Window Cleaning When You Book External Cleaning.

15.3. Discounts become void when alterations are made and/or external window cleaning is not required.

15.4. Discounts ONLY apply to one booking time, the discount cannot be spread across more than 1 booking.

16. Email Communications

16.1. We may email offers. Unsubscribe via the link or email.
